The module has several settings that can modify the prices on the website during publication to eBay.
When synchronizing a product, the module will consider the retail price of the product and apply the configured markup accordingly.
The module settings that can alter the selling price are:
– Markups (on categories/manufacturers/suppliers based on the configured setup)
– Price modification within the “Fastbay” tab inside an individual product (in this case, the published price will be the one entered in the Fastbay tab)
– Manage sending price with taxes (YES / NO) – Configurable in the module’s general settings
– Manage sending discounted (specific) or list prices – Configurable in the module’s general settings (in case of specific prices on a product tied to a customer group, Fastbay will only consider the price for the DEFAULT customer group).
– “Aggregate shipping costs to product price” enabled: in this case, the module will add the cheapest of the enabled shipping costs to the product price, “deducting” it from the shipping cost (for more details, see the dedicated “Shipping” section in the documentation).
If after these checks you still notice a different price being sent, verify that the “exchange rate” for the currency used on your website (e.g., Euro) matches “1” in the Localization -> Currencies menu of your site.
If not, adjust it to the correct value and try a new synchronization.
If “Aggregate shipping costs to product price” has been enabled, also check the value of “Handling fees” related to Prestashop shipping (this option can be found in the Shipping -> Settings menu) as this amount will be added to the actual shipping costs and sent to eBay.
