Some previously synchronized products now appear disconnected within Fastbay

The module uniquely links the products after they are sent to eBay, inserting the Prestashop product ID and the corresponding eBay item number into a database table. This operation ensures that the product will be marked as to update in a subsequent submission.

At any time, you can check the eBay synchronization status of a product by entering a Prestashop product sheet (the “Fastbay1” tab in the “Modules” section inside a product in your backoffice). A synchronized product will be highlighted by the eBay item number in the appropriate field:

IMPORTANT: Any products already listed on eBay BEFORE the installation of Fastbay will not be automatically recognized by the module, but they will need to be linked by entering the eBay item number in the field mentioned above or by using the bulk upload via CSV from the “Products” tab (refer to the specific section for more information).

If a product previously sent to eBay “loses” the association with the related eBay item number within the module, check the following:

Make sure the eBay listing originally linked to the product is still active on the marketplace: in the event of a forced closure of the listing by eBay (e.g., due to a violation and/or direct closure of the listing on the eBay website), the module may have recognized this operation through automatic sync and already unlinked the item number.

Make sure no modifications were made to your product on the e-commerce side (deletion / duplication) that may have changed the product ID in question: in such cases, the module will treat the e-commerce product as a new product to synchronize. Duplicating a product on the site will NOT duplicate the product’s association with eBay.

Make sure to always wait for the “response” download from eBay after a mass sync of the Add/Close products type. In this regard, it is important to always wait for the completion of this type of sync because the association/unlinking of synchronized products in the database is performed during the response download phase.
