When you perform a new Sync Offers operation, the AmazonSync module generates a dedicated code, which will then be used to download elaboration’s results, if needed.
If you perform many sync, each one close to the other, that code will be update every time, making it impossible to download the report from within the module.
Let’s make an example, simulating a dedicated sync on five different countries.
10:00 sync for Italy, code IT00001
10:02 sync for Germany, code DE00001
10:04 sync for France, code FR00001
10:06 sync for Poland, code PL00001
10:08 sync for Spain, code ES00001
10:10 sync for Italy, code IT00002
As mentioned in this page of the manual (and also within the module), since March 2025 Amazon can receive at maximum 1 sync every 5 minutes. As such, our system will perform the following operations:
10:00 it will send the feed for Italy
10:05 it will send the feed for Germany
10:10 it will send the feed for France
and so on. The second feed for Italy will be sent to Amazon at 10:30 only, but within the module the report download code has already been modified (it became IT00002), making it impossible to download the one for the first sync.
In this situation two possible solutions are available:
- decrease the frequency of the syncs you perform towards the same country (i.e. 10:00 Italy, 10:05 Germany, 10:10 France, 10:15 Poland, 10:20 Spain and at 10:25 only the second sync for Italy)
- manually download reports from Seller Central
In the latter care you can download those file from Catalog – Add more products, clicking on Check upload status at the bottom.
WARNING: in this phase Amazon only reports whether the provided data is technically correct or not (i.e. EAN is 13 characters long). The lack of errors doesn’t guarantee that the offer gets properly updated.
Should a product be present within the file and it doesn’t generate any error, but the offer is not updated on Amazon, you will then have to check with seller’s support for any possible limitation on that specific SKU.
