Offers are not being exported towards Amazon

Within the AmazonSync’s Sync tab it is possible to check the reason why a product is not being exported.

A product is considered enabled for export if the following conditions are met:

  • its default category is enabled within the module
  • its manufacturer is active within the module
  • its supplier is active within the module

If one of these three conditions is not met, you will still be able to force the sync by enabling it within the Products tab. It is always mandatory for the product to be active on your website. If a product is enabled for sync, its row will have a green mark within the module’s Products tab.

When an offer does not get updated or it doesn’t show up on Amazon, follow these steps to learn why:

  • click on Last generated feed and check if the product is present within the file
  • if it’s present, download the listings’ report using the dedicated button and open it using the Last sync report link to check if that SKU generated any error
  • if it’s NOT present, click on Skipped products list to verify if it was added here and the reason (price or quantity not matching filter, missing EAN code, duplicated SKU on website etc)

Should the product be missing from both file and list, then it’s possible that it is not being considered during the export procedure.
First of all, check that it has the green mark within the Products tab. After doing this, there are other options in the Sync tab that can affect and limit the number of exported products:

  • export only products with ASIN: if the product is missing this code, it will then be skipped
  • limit export to N lines: the module will export a number of listing equal at maximum to this value and might end the export procedure before of reaching that specific product
  • export only products updated in the last: if the product was updated before of that time range, then it won’t be exported; if you have massive imports running on your website and they don’t change the product’s update date, then it will be ignored because the module has no way to know that the product was modified
