During 2021 eBay will introduce a proprietary payment system called “eBay Managed Payments” for managing and receiving payments
within the platform, it is already active in opt-in in some marketplaces and will be introduced gradually to the various sellers (here you can find more information from eBay).

This change will ensure that payments will not be received by the seller but by eBay directly, so the payment status of an order will be handled directly by eBay.

If a seller opt-in to “eBay Managed Payments” :

• Fastbay will still send payment information and methods related to the synchronized listings and NO blocking errors will be thrown during synchronization, however, these payment methods will be ignored by eBay, as the buyer will be offered to pay only through the eBay platform.
• Downloading orders paid by “eBay Managed Payments” is supported from Fastbay version 6.3.3 , the order status that will download an order paid in this mode will be the same as mapped to Credit Card payments, so you can customize it as needed from the “Orders” tab of the module (see the orders part of the documentation for more details).
