Can I link products from my website to the ones I already have on Amazon?

Seller Central products’ matching is performed through the field called SKU by Amazon, a value that the seller can freely associate to each product to identify them internally.

AmazonSync lets you select among three different sources for the SKU field: reference, EAN or supplier reference. This selection can be performed within the General tab. If products already on Amazon use one of these three Prestashop fields as SKU, then sending data from the website will update those available on Amazon. On the contrary, a new offer will be created on Seller Central.

WARNING! It is mandatory for the SKU to be unique for both products and combinations.

If you already have products on Seller Central and the SKU matches, you will then be able to use the inventory download functionality to get from Amazon information about stock currently available on the marketplace and ASIN, that the module will automatically link to website’s products.

Associating stock is a mandatory requirement for the orphaned products functionality to work properly.
