Starting from version 2.5.6, AmazonSync recognizes modifications performed to products, categories, manufacturers and suppliers and records the the affected products in this operation. If (for example) you modify a manufacturer’s markup, all the products associated to it will the added to the list present in the Queue tab. This information will be used during the Sync Offer operation if you opted to do a partial one, with only products modified with the last N hours.
This has several advantages: the seller won’t be forced to make a complete sync (which might take a lot of time to be completed), they will be able to keep trace of the recent modifications and it won’t change in any way the product’s update date present in the original Prestashop tables.
Within the tab you can find two options:
- Delete queue after: 1, 7, 15 days. Depending on the value selected, the list of modified products will remain visibile for the amount of days you chose. After that limit is reached, products will be removed from the list after the first Sync Offers.
- Select an action: you can enable, disable or remove the products from the queue.
The sequence in which the actions are performed is:
- you edit a value within the module
- products are added to the queue with the Synchronize option enabled
- a Sync Offer operation is performed
- the enabled products are added even if they weren’t modified on the website within the last N hours
- those products are then disabled in the queue, but they will still be visible for the amount of days selected (in case you would like to synchronize them again without modifying them a second time within the module)
We remember that it is strongly advisable to use the Synchronize products updated in the last N hours option after the changes performed by Amazon starting from March 2025.
